In the future, if economic conditions exacerbate, profits from exports decrease and the Quebecois and Canadian population requests American content the government will surrender to the American influence. 'The coming of age of Canadian culture may not depend on our ability to protect it at home, but to project it on the world's stage' (Schnieder, 1997).
