1. Introduction
Iran is a country which locates in the Middle East with a total area of 1.65 million km2 and a population of approximately 73 millions according to estimation. The average annual rainfall of Iran this country is 250 mm and about 90% of this country is in arid and semiarid regions (Chavoshian, 2005). Moreover, the annual rainfall distribution of Iran is grossly inhomogeneous. The rainy period is from November to May and the dry period is between May and October. Approximately 90% of total rainfall takes place in cold and humid seasons and in northern and western parts of the country and only 10% comes about in warm and dry seasons and in central, southern and eastern parts.

Water resources are closely related to living and economic development. No water, no human survival and economic development. Therefore, the development of effective water provision methods is extremely significant for Iran to make use of the limited amounts of water. There are many water provision methods such as water recycling, underground water utilization, etc. This article will compare the advantages and disadvantages of water recycling with underground water as the methods for water provision in Iran.

6. Conclusions
As mentioned above, water recycling has many advantages compared to the groundwater using, such as relatively low cost, environmental benefits, etc. It will be commonly accepted by the multitude after better propaganda. It will benefit the people of Iran.
