摘要:本文是一篇英语毕业论文,首先,在“in”、“on”和“at”三个概念中,蒙古族英语学习者过度使用空间概念和时间概念,这与中国英语学习者的情况一致。
本文认为蒙古族英语专业学生在使用in、on和at时,既有正迁移,也有负迁移。1) 在时间概念表达方面,蒙古族英语学习者的介词In只表现为蒙古语和汉语引起的正概念迁移,而负概念迁移不明显,一些负概念迁移是由母语引起的。这可能是因为负性概念迁移所导致的in错误以on和at表示。因为蒙古语中的“,”和汉语中的“在……里”的概念正迁移到介词“in”,但英语中的“in”概念转换为蒙古语中的“,”时会出现错误。2) 汉语专业二语介词的空间迁移不仅受母语概念迁移的影响,而且受母语概念迁移的影响。在语料库中,母语的概念迁移包括正迁移和负迁移,而第二语言汉语的影响在于在表达多媒体空间概念时介词on的正向概念迁移。3) 当蒙古语的概念与汉语的概念相同时,它属于第三种概念转移。蒙古语第三语言学习者也会受到母语和第二语言的双重影响,这种影响表现为正迁移和负迁移。
Chapter I Introduction
1.1 Background of the research
In the field of second language acquisition, language transfer has always been a hot topic. In the 1990s, under the influence of cognitive linguistics, Pavlenko (1998) put forward the conceptual transfer - the study of human language from the perspective of language and cognitive interface. This means that the study of language transfer does not just focus on the analysis of the surface phenomena of language, but on the similarities and differences of the conceptual system between the target language and the mother tongue, that is, to explore the cognitive causes of the transfer from the conceptual level. This has also become a new research direction of language transfer.
Conceptual transfer theory is based on the weak hypothesis of Wolff's linguistic relativity, that is, language influences thinking. Conceptual transfer emphasizes cognitive and conceptual functions of people in the process of language learning, so it can be found in the application of second language. Language learners' writing is the written form of their language, which reflects their language competence to a certain extent, and can be used as a basis and reliable material for the research in the field of second language acquisition. Through the study of written forms of representative language usage produced by second language learners, second language acquisition experts can discover and describe how the second language is learnt, and reveal the learning process by observing and analyzing the learners' language output.

1.2 Purpose and significance of the study
This research intends to help teachers better understand students’ learning difficulties when Mongolian English majors use prepositions in their English writing, and tries to explain the phenomenon of conceptual transfer by analyzing the similarities and differences between different languages. Furthermore, this paper also emphasizes that teacher should take into account the influence of the first language and second language during English learning and supply some effective instructions for English teaching.
