Eyewitness is in fact an event recalling or incident description. Learners first are

to tell what they see. What they tell should at least include the setting, time, characters and
learners' own comment.
Eyewitness is a effective way to train learners' ability to observe, to study an event in

Eyewitness generally consists of the following procedures.
Step 1 .Learners are given part or whole of the event pictures or are offered a piece of
slide show.
Step 2. Learners study the picture or watch the slide show for some time, then, the
teacher takes back the pictures or turns off the slide show.
Step 3. Learners are required to report what they have seen in the picture or slide
show individually.
Step 4. Learners discuss about the event and give their own opinions on it.
Step 5. The teacher offers some feedback on learners' report, generally the feedback
are positive. This may encourage and motivate learners to attend such
activities.
6.2 Pair Worl}
Pair work is an essential activity in oral class interaction. Tt is generally used to make
a conversation and role-play. Through pair work, learners get a lot of opportunities to
practicing using language. On the one hand, pair work reduces the teacher talking time,
encouraging learners to attend activities and allowing learners to have more time to

interact. On the other hand, pair work is beneficial to create an active and relaxed
classroom communication atmosphere.
