摘要:本文是大学英语教学论文,笔者主要是想研究在自主学习环境下,听力学习方法对听力成绩的作用以及学生自主学习能力能不能得到提高。
Chapter Five Results and Discussion
5.1 Results and Discussion on Listening Strategies and Listening Tests of Controlled Group inPost-test
From Table 5.1 and Table 5.2, we can see the situation of using listening strategies in controlled classhas improved a little. The four listening strategies have improved but it isn’t obvious according to the valueof Mean. Because the teacher in controlled class has monitored some listening practice in class, themeta-cognitive strategies and affective strategies have improved, but cognitive strategies andcommunicative strategies haven’t improved. According to the paired samples test in Table 5.2, it shows thatthe sig.(2-tailed)= .005 of meta-cognitive strategies, the sig. (2-tailed)= .008 of affective strategies, thesevalues of sig< .01, it indicates that the meta-cognitive strategies and affective strategies has significantdifference. But the cognitive strategies and communication strategies has no significance. It means thatstudents’ listening strategies application need teacher’s help and instruction, and more practice is helpfulfor students to improve their listening ability.

Conclusion
Since the midst of the 1970s, a great number of language learning strategies researches emergedrapidly and prosperously, there are some features in the following perspectives: the learning strategies usedby good learners; the differences of using learning strategies between effective and non-effective learners;the correlation between strategies application and language performance; the factors that influenced thelanguage learning strategies using and the approaches of language strategies instruction and itseffectiveness.In this research, the author mainly explored the effect of listening strategies instruction on listeningachievement in autonomous learning environment. As we know, listening strategies are one of basiclanguage skills, to promote learners’ learning ability; the autonomous learning is the trend to advocate.autonomous learning center provides an appropriate learning environment that can combine computertechnology with language learning approaches. The strategies instruction seems more important andessential for learners to master and enhance learners’ autonomy.
