n a very short time more than 200 years, has developed into the world's only superpower.
Conclusion
In the modern world, there is no country without automobile, but there is no country having the automobile culture like America. The car culture of America affect the whole world, include China, and the American culture also affects us and impacts Chinese culture. In order to avoid losing Chinese traditional culture, it is necessary to know the culture of the United States.
This thesis introduces the definition of culture and significance of American culture, and then analyses, among American culture, the individualism, humor, materialism and Americans’ pursuit of change from the perspective of American automobile. At last, the author draws a conclusion that Americans are individualistic, humorous, and good at pursuit of materials and change in their life. It is not easy to completely analyze the American culture from the perspective of American automobile. This paper is just an attemptable research. It waits for other researchers to further study other aspects, and to perfect this research in its field.
