Abstract摘要

Facebook已经留下了痕迹几乎遍布世界各地，它未能在中国有同样的影响，在人人网被认为是“中国的Facebook”。本文着眼于激励的原因，在这两个平台上注册的社会网络，从事视频相关内容的交换过程中的中国用户。
学术界缺乏足够的研究关注的动机，触发用户参与的交流过程中的视频之间的社会平台。因此，为了得到一个详细的角度来看，触发用户参与交流过程中的动机，本研究遵循一个定性的研究方法，通过收集信息，通过二次调查和采访的中国学生的诺丁汉大学，中国校园。
The digital age has great dominance over majority of the people today. There are various social network service platforms connecting people all around the world. Out of the list of many this paper will focus on two major social platforms, Facebook and Renren. With Facebook having left its mark on almost all over the world, it has failed to have the same impact in China, where Renren is considered to be the ‘the Facebook of China’. This paper looks into the reasons that motivate the Chinese users who are registered on both the social networks to engage in the exchange process of video related content across the two platforms.
The academia lacks sufficient research about focusing on the motives that triggers users to get involved in the exchange process of videos between two social platforms. Hence, in order to get a detailed perspective about the motives that triggers the users to participate in the exchange process, this research follows a qualitative research approach by collecting information through secondary research and interviewing the Chinese students of the University of Nottingham, China campus.
