business environment which is characterized by the globalization and other macro influences, changing priorities and preferences of people, state control cancellations in the markets both an increasing product and market competition, It became the standard for all companies. To compete in the market, the organizations have to improve the work, reducing a total cost, increasing productivity and improving quality. It demands effective management of the personnel in the organization for the best understanding of functioning of the solution of human resources in creation and sustainment of competitive advantages and organizational work. In the field of human resource management it is also important to increase activity of employees.
The project deals with understanding of a role of line managers in improvement of activity of employees. The following part of the project would reflect functioning on line management to improve the activity of employees by effective way which in turn will increase overall performance of the organization.
Line Managementis a business term to describe the administration of activities that contribute directly to the output of products or services. In corporate hierarchy, a Line Manager holds authority in a vertical (chain of command), and/or over a particular product line. He or she is charged with meeting corporate objectives in a specific functional area orline of business(Hilary Harris, 2009). Linear heads bear responsibility in relation to higher administrative level for management of these employees or teams. A front line managers address to those linear heads who are present at lower striations in hierarchy, a lump employees, without any organizing or controlling responsibility, report. Duties which are executed by linear heads, mainly, include:
Providing that any employees experiencing executive difficulties, operate respectively and working with the employee to identify measures which could be used to improve work
Providing the employee has a full understanding of consequences not improvements
Establishing realistic and measurable norms of work to include the plan of action, including the purposes, standards, deadlines and further support.
Settlement of appropriate time during which improvement is expected.
Preparation of the regular review of the progress meeting during the period between orders.
Rendering the reasonable support, the corresponding supervision and support so all employees can achieve them the objectives
It is clear letting know areas in which performance of the person is lower than expectation (an explanation of bases/proofs for this representation).
Attempt to identify any problems or underperformance reasons.
