Dear Sir,

My name is Bai Ye. I graduated from Teda International School in Tianjing, China in January, 2011. I am very eager to enter Florida State University to accept film education for a bachelor degree.
As I know that, first of all, students of Florida State University are from different countries around the world and their have diverse cultural backgrounds, making international exchange there more extensive, so I will have the opportunities to communicate with students with various cultural backgrounds, which is I have expected for a long time. Then, I would like to apply for a major which is associated with film, and Florida State University is famous for its film education, it has educated many successful film workers, such as Faye Dunaway, her success makes me have longing and respect for the university. Finally, the university's motto is "Vires, Artes, Mores, and my personal experience also follows this spirit. I started studying at Teda International School, Tianjing, China for twelve years, including my processes of primary school, junior middle school and senior middle school. I have accepted bilingual education at senior middle school and completed the curriculum of Chinese high school and Australian VCE courses, I have a good performance in English learning during the school. I have the experience of hosting many shows in our school and I love music, movies and reading. In my spare time, I participated in various voluntary activities and was recognized as outstanding volunteers. Considering my families, both my parents have bachelor degrees. My father is an engineer and he has a factory which deals with metal manufacturing. My mother was once an engineer, now she resigned and became a full-time housewife. I have a younger brother. My good family environment will provide me with good financial supports to complete my study at Florida State University. In addition, after I finished my study abroad, I hope to find a job related to film in my homeland, I will use what I have learned at Florida State University to contribute to China's film industry.
